Michael represents national and Fortune 500 clients in all aspects of complex commercial, product liability, employment, and catastrophic injury litigation and counseling. His clients are uniquely situated across the commercial chain and include officers and directors, manufacturers, distributors, retail, professionals, and firms in the product design and engineering disciples.

 

Michael’s experience includes the defense of an international locomotive manufacturer against manufacturing and design defect claims, lead counsel in class actions concerning violations of consumer protection and financial services laws, counseling a multi-national food client on promotional package labeling and product warnings, and leading the Ninth Circuit appeal of a RICO action concerning novel first amendment forfeiture issues.

 

Michael’s depth of knowledge in a wide variety of complex actions allows him to aggressively litigate to create a playing field tilted towards his clients at the time of trial.

 

Michael graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Global Studies. He received his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law, where he was a member of the Emory Law Moot Court Society.
